| At Astra, recurrent pregnancy loss affects a significant proportion of our presenting patient population. To try and identify the cause of recurrent pregnancy loss, genetic testing for both partners, sperm testing, evaluation for clotting and immune disorders is performed. Finding the root cause for recurrent loss is pivotal to offering meaningful and effective treatment. Nevertheless, despite extensive testing, no cause can be found in up to one-third of cases.
